This school district shaped who I am.

From my very first steps as an eager kindergartner at Cowern Elementary, to the thrill of being a “Mustang” at Maplewood Middle School, and walking across the graduation stage of Tartan High School graduate, I have always carried deep pride in being part of ISD 622, where I played football, led clubs, and prepared for college.

The North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale School District gave me the foundation to succeed in so many ways. At Tartan, I loved playing football, and throughout my years in school, I stepped up as a leader and active participant in numerous clubs, organizations, and community activities.

ISD 622 not only set me up to win in all areas of my life, it also helped me become a human being who deeply cares about people, education, and our world.

Now, I’m ready to give back.

I’m running for school board because I believe education is the greatest means to social mobility. Education is key to build communities where everyone can thrive, live, work, and learn with dignity and opportunity.

With extensive experience in education advocacy and a deep commitment to equity, student success, and safety—I’m ready to get to work for and champion our kids.

Our students face real challenges—mental health, equity gaps, and rising needs.

We need leaders who listen, who act, and who care deeply.

I ask for your support this November and to join this movement of positive change!
